Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Content Head to join our team.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the content creation process to ensure high-quality, engaging, and error-free content across various platforms.
With your exceptional editing skills and strong attention to detail, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our brand voice and enhancing our content strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire content creation process, including ideation, writing, editing, and proofreading, to ensure content is accurate, well-structured, and meets our quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including writers, designers, and marketing specialists, to develop content strategies that align with our brand voice and goals.
- Edit and refine content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, consistency, and style, ensuring a polished and professional end product.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and credibility of content, fact-checking information, and verifying sources when necessary.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers and content creators to improve their work, offering guidance on style, tone, and structure.
- Develop and maintain style guides, editorial standards, and content policies to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging content formats to constantly enhance our content strategy and provide innovative ideas.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize content for search engine visibility and implement SEO best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Monitor content performance metrics and analyze user feedback to make data-driven decisions and improve content effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in content editing, preferably in a digital marketing or media environment.
- Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and editing content across multiple platforms, such as websites, blogs, social media, and email newsletters.
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO principles.
- Strong research skills to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to track content performance is a plus.
- A portfolio of edited content and writing samples showcasing your editing skills and style.
