Performance QA - Test Lead:

Seeking a highly skilled Performance Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with performance testing tools and a strong background in the Banking and Finance domain. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

• Experience should have 6 to 9 years into performance QA practices.
• Plan, design, develop, maintain, and execute various types of performance testing such as load, stress, and transactional performance testing using testing tools and comprehensive test scenarios.
• Conduct performance testing for on-premises and cloud-based software solutions that consist of web, client, and mobile technologies to ensure they meet desired performance standards under specified user loads.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, and open-source tools to conduct performance testing.
• Facilitate cross-functional performance analysis working sessions to determine results and agreement on remediation recommendations to correct performance issues.
• Attend Project/Team meetings and contribute feedback based on testing results and status on project deliverables. May serve as a consultant on complex projects or give high level estimates as requested by the client.
• Define comprehensive performance test strategies that outline the approach, environment, scope, risks, and resources required.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive issues to appropriate resolutions.
• Provide well-written documentation, including performance test plans and test summary reports, to stakeholders.
• Offer expert performance testing advice, guidance, and suggestions, acting as a subject matter expert within the team.
• Demonstrate strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience and strong knowledge of performance testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement.
• As a Test lead, need to help inhouse team to upskill work along with the client team.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Jenkins, or GitLab etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player and extremely resourceful.
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline.
• Very good written and oral communication skills.
