• Modernization of Legacy Systems: Replace VB6-based applications and services with modern, scalable API-driven solutions.
• API Development: Proven experience in designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs (experience with SOAP is a plus).
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as C#, .NET Core with the ability to rewrite or refactor VB6 code.
• Database Management: Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other RDBMS, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Cloud & Microservices: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• VB6 Expertise: Experience in VB6 development and troubleshooting

Financial Services Domain (Preferred): Knowledge of financial systems, regulations, and processes is highly beneficial.
