Job Description

Roles and Responsibility

About the Role:

As a Data Engineer within the Data &Analytics team, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and availability of our data while working on projects including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows. Your expertise in SQL Server as well as ability to model and/or migrate pipelines into cloud services will be key in managing our data architecture.

You will:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

Collaborate with the data analytics and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and provide data solutions.

Monitor and optimize data pipelines and database performance.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks to maintain efficient data processing.

Optimize and tune SQL queries to improve data retrieval and processing performance.

Create and maintain documentation of data engineering processes, data models, and ETL workflows.

Implement data security and compliance measures to protect sensitive data.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering.

Be part of Agile team that delivers iterative analytics solution to various customer stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Finance, Product and Executive Leadership.

Ideally, you ll have:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or a related field (or proven experience in these areas)

4+ years professional experience in SQL Server / Azure Data Factory.

Experience with analytic/relational data modeling concepts

Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing and data modeling.

Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration.

Ability to interpret stakeholder needs to provide data necessary to enable business goals.

Communication skills that enable relating complex technical problems or solutions to non-technical folks and vice versa

Experience in one or more Cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, GCP, etc)

Familiarity with backend data from common SaaS vendors such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Marketo, etc.

Ability to wear multiple hats in an agile and fast-moving environment.
