Aerial Telecom - Software Engineer - Zscaler (5-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Configure, manage, and optimize Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) to ensure secure and seamless web access for users across the organization.

- Utilize Algosec Firewall Analyzer and Appviz to track and manage firewall rules, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.

- Implement and manage secure network traffic filtering and access control policies across a multi-cloud environment.

- Monitor network performance, troubleshooting issues, and resolving network access problems as needed.

- Collaborate with security teams to ensure that network security measures are in place and compliant with the organizations security posture.

- Provide recommendations for improving network architecture and security.

3. Qualifications :

- Bachelors or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience in related field.

- 5-10 years professional experience managing and maintaining network systems.

- Proven experience with Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and Algosec Firewall Analyzer/Appviz.

- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and access control technologies.

- Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Knowledge of DNS, SSL inspection, and IPS/IDS technologies.

- Familiarity with network security best practices and compliance standards.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.

4. Certifications :

- Certification in Zscaler, Cisco, or other networking/security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP).
