Electrical Design ELV Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and engineering of security systems, including CCTV, Public Address and General Alarm (PAGA) systems, Fiber Optic Networks, Switching, LAN /VAN design, Wireless , Radio Systems and Access Control Systems (ACS). Knowledge of networking is a plus, especially with experience in the Industrial or Oil & Gas sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and engineer security systems, including CCTV, PAGA, and ACS, tailored to meet client requirements.

2. Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems.

3. Prepare detailed technical specifications and documentation for system installations.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with installed systems, providing technical support as necessary.

5. Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in security systems and networking.

6. Provide training and support to clients and end-users on system operation and maintenance.

7. Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in the design and engineering of security systems (CCTV, PAGA, ACS). At least 1 year experience as Team lead.

3. Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies.

4. Experience in the Industrial or Oil & Gas sectors is highly preferred.

5. Proficiency in relevant software tools for system design and documentation.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
