Job Description
- Design and implement multi-layer high-speed PCB layouts using industry-standard CAD tool (Cadence Allegro).
- Design knowledge on High-speed digital and analog boards.
- Design of controlled impedance boards. Ensure compliance with high-speed design guidelines for signal integrity, impedance control, crosstalk, and EMI/EMC.
- Layouts and manual routes adhering to PCB design standards set by the customers and the company. Perform layout optimization to meet mechanical and thermal constraints, including via placement, trace routing, and component placement.
- Interface with board fabrication vendors to select and use correct impedance rules, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Testability (DFT) rule sets
- Knowledge on Fabricate and assembly drawings, manufacturing panels, pick-and place data; Engineering change orders (ECOs), Generate Bill of materials (BOM), Gerber Generation.
- Analyse schematic diagrams to effectively design PCB layouts.
- Schematic capture, library management, footprint and symbol creation.
- Knowledge on 3-D Drawings.
