SFCC/Senior Salesforce Developer - Commerce cloud

Role & responsibilities

• Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in Salesforce development, particularly in Apex, Trigger, Flow, LWC and Aura.
• Commerce Cloud Development: Focus on developing eCommerce websites based on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, leveraging core Salesforce objects.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, BA and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and technical solutions.
• Solution Design: Leverage design patterns and principles to architect robust and scalable solutions.
• System Integration: Use RESTful APIs for system integration, ensuring seamless interaction between different systems SAP and Other.
• Technical Participation: Participate in technical discussions, providing insights and recommendations, and driving effective implementations.
• Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with Salesforce and related technologies, keeping pace with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Version Control: Utilize Git for version control, ensuring efficient code management and collaboration.
• Agile Methodology: Work within a Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and project delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

• Salesforce Development Experience: Strong hands-on experience with out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality and Salesforce development, particularly in Apex, Trigger, Lightning Flow, Aura, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce page, SOQL, and SOSL query language.
• Good understanding of salesforce best practices and governor Limits.
• Salesforce Commerce Platform: Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Builder and content management (CMS) also the actual implementations.
• Experience in developing eCommerce websites using Salesforce Commerce Cloud Store front would be a is a huge plus.
• Good understanding about commerce cloud object model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields.
• Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
• System Integration: Hands on experience with different integration type RESTful APIs, SOAP, Platform event and integration with other 3rd party system like SAP System and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) system.
• Front-end Technologies: Proficiency in UI/UX Technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development.
• Additional Tools: Git version control, SourceTree, Bitbucket, vscode.
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working within a Scrum framework, demonstrating effective team collaboration and project delivery.
• Certifications Commerce cloud certifications, PD1, App Builder
• Salesforce Cloud Sales, Service, Commerce Cloud, Experience cloud

Candidate Qualification

• Minimum: 3 years of experience
• Degree – BE, BTech, MCA.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
