Odoo ERP Developer (4-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a talented Odoo ERP Developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and implementing Odoo modules to streamline business processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to customize and configure Odoo for various client requirements and integrate it with third-party applications.

A strong understanding of Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and the Odoo framework is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

Odoo Module Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and implement Odoo modules that align with business processes and requirements.

- Customize and configure Odoo modules to meet client-specific needs and optimize functionality.

Integration :

- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications, ERP systems, and APIs for enhanced business operations.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Troubleshoot and resolve both technical and functional issues in Odoo modules, ensuring smooth system operation.

- Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring that Odoo remains fully operational and optimized.

Collaboration :

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (such as business analysts, project managers, and other developers) to define and prioritize project requirements.

- Assist in gathering and analyzing client needs to tailor Odoo solutions that enhance business efficiency.

Documentation & Best Practices :

- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Odoo implementations, customizations, and troubleshooting processes.

- Stay updated on the latest Odoo features, updates, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development.

- Experience with Odoo v16 and v17 is preferred.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and the Odoo framework.

- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and proficiency in SQL.

- Experience with Odoo module development, including implementing workflows, reports, and customizations.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting :

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve both functional and technical issues efficiently.

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identify and address issues before they affect the business.

Communication & Teamwork :

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

- Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desirable Skills :

- Knowledge of Odoo's inventory, sales, accounting, and project management modules.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

- Ability to work in agile development environments
