Job Description:
As an Admission Counsellor at Chandigarh University, your main responsibility will be to assist prospective students through the admissions process. You will be the first point of contact for students and their families, providing information and guidance on the university's programs, admissions requirements, and financial aid options. You will need to build relationships with prospective students to understand their individual needs and goals, and effectively communicate the benefits of attending Chandigarh University.

In addition to assisting students with the admissions process, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student interactions and providing regular updates to university administration on prospective student inquiries, applications, and enrolment trends. You will work closely with the admissions team to develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and talented pool of applicants.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of higher education admissions processes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You must be knowledgeable about university programs and be able to effectively convey the benefits of choosing Chandigarh University to prospective students.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in higher education admissions or counselling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of university admissions processes and requirements
- Familiarity with CRM and student information systems is a plus
