Hiring For AM- General Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

• General Accounting Support:
• Process and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger updates.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure that cash flows are properly recorded and monitored.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, tracking payments, and ensuring collections.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable/receivable.
• Accounting Software and Systems:
• Use accounting software (e.g., Oracle, or other ERP systems) for data entry, financial reporting, and transaction processing.
• Ensure data is accurately recorded in accounting systems and that financial reports are produced efficiently.
• Stay updated on the latest software tools and best practices for accounting processes.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations & sales,) to resolve accounting issues and improve financial reporting processes.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and third-party providers regarding financial matters, including payments and invoices.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
• Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.
