Job Description
- To provide legal support, supervise and follow-up for litigation and Compliance
- Ensure and coordinate in the reduction of number of cases
- Efforts to get favorable order through regular follow-up, filings and compliance
- Explore out of court settlements on reasonable terms and conditions as per management directives
- Conduct legal meetings / discussion with counsels and management to discuss the further proceeds
- To standardize processes where legal complication is involved so as to avoid future complications
- To spread legal awareness in other departments to sensitize them on legal matters / complications
- Reviewing and checking of all legal documents and attend legal matters in court and filing hearings,
- To coordinate with company s counsel and support him with all necessary documents and information for representation
- Prepare and filing of legal compliances and ensure up to date legal management system
- Updating Software - RCM Compliance, SAQ, HUMAN RIGHTS DUE DELIGENCE,
- Adherence to statutory compliances and ensure up to date compliance management system
- To keep updates with the changes in laws, rules and regulations of governing authorities
- Circulation of guided note / change in law to concerned departments
- To draft / review commercial and legal documents as per the requirements of the business
- Validate documents, evaluate and ensure due diligence in legal aspect.
- Coordinate with Govt./ Local Dept - Liaison with Govt. authorities such as police, Municipality, Tehsil, SDM office, labour department (Asst. Labour Commissioner, Dy. Labour Commissioner, Labour Court & Industrial Court), Judicial Court (Lower court to High Court) and DM office.
- Other related assignments, as entrusted time to time
- Evaluate risks, ensure due diligence, and negotiate contracts to safeguard the companys interests.
- Assist in contract preparation, risk analysis, governance practices, and any other assignments as entrusted over time
