Job Description

Nasdaq is looking for a Liquidity risk reporting specialized business analyst to join our Liquidity risk solutions team. If Innovation and effectiveness drive you forward this is the place for you!

The successful candidate will become part of a team delivering best-in-class solution to financial institutions across the globe.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong experienced team delivering complex technology solutions worldwide. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts, and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress within the Project Management team.

You will work closely with your colleagues in the Liquidity risk solution teams to define product features and functional requirements - interpreting international and local risk regulations.
You will write and review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) that breakdown requirements into clear and cohesive business logic and designs (data modelling, transformation / calculation / reporting allocations logic, dashboards, and other user interactions) which serve as the inputs for technical software development. The role requires keen attention to detail and ownership of delivering specifications based on regulatory and operational requirements that meet the needs of our external clients.

Through the customer interactions, you will build strong relations and trust with key business and technology stakeholders.
Interrogate and challenge business existing operational paradigms and business use cases to look for optimizations and improvements, incorporating these into the requirements and specifications you produce.
Collaborate with the Application Development team to ensure the functional goals of our software are always captured and business user experience is considered.
Provide guidance on the creation of test scenarios to the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the full suite of functional as well as non-functional use cases are validated
Participate in sales and pre-sales, provide input into marketing initiatives, driving the creation of publications, blogs, content for webinars, and more.

As strong knowledge and practical first-hand experience with Liquidity Risk rules (mainly LCR, NSFR, Liquidity Monitoring, Asset encumbrance and related reports) in APAC jurisdictions, especially for India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea
A very good understanding of key banking products - securities and loans, derivatives, SFT, guarantees, collaterals
An experience working as a business analyst in banking industry or related vendor in a Regulatory/Compliance role/team
Collaboration and communication aptitude necessary to share complex ideas succinctly and accurately both in written and verbal forms
A self-motivated attitude that allows the candidate to map out their own optimal path to achieve the goals articulated above whilst managing deadlines
A team player approach that leverages the knowledge and skills of others and works with those in the wider team and company to ensure we are greater than the sum of our parts
A Bachelor s degree in one of the following majors desirable: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Science, Mathematics, or other aligned business and technology aligned subject matters.
