Php Developer - CodeIgniter & Laravel

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior PHP Developer to join our growing development team. As a Junior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications using PHP and frameworks like CodeIgniter (CI) and Laravel. You will work closely with senior developers to deliver high-quality software solutions, enhance existing projects, and ensure the smooth operation of web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Laravel.
• Collaborate with senior developers and team members to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of new features.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities in existing applications.
• Assist in the integration of front-end components and back-end logic to ensure smooth functionality.
• Work with databases like MySQL, including writing queries and performing database optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in PHP and web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in PHP development.
• Proficiency in PHP and experience working with PHP frameworks, particularly CodeIgniter and Laravel.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL and the ability to write SQL queries.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions from senior developers.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Vue.js.
• Experience with third-party API integrations.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Basic knowledge of Linux server environments and deployment processes.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
