Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, service agreements, vendor contracts, and confidentiality agreements.
Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice and guidance to business units and management on various non-litigation matters, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, intellectual property, and employment law.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure that the organization complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Advise on compliance programs, risk management, and corporate policies.
Corporate Governance: Support the legal team in governance matters, including the preparation and maintenance of corporate documents, board minutes, and resolutions.
Legal Risk Management: Identify and assess legal risks related to business operations, providing proactive solutions to minimize exposure and protect the companys interests.
Due Diligence: Conduct legal research and provide assistance on legal due diligence for business transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
Intellectual Property Management: Assist in managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and licensing agreements.
Dispute Resolution (Non-Litigation): Handle non-litigation dispute resolution, such as mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
Compliance Training: Develop and conduct training sessions for staff on legal and compliance issues to foster a culture of legal awareness within the organization.
Qualifications:
Law degree (LL.B.) from an accredited institution.
years of experience in non-litigation legal matters, preferably within a corporate or commercial legal environment.
Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, intellectual property, and compliance regulations.
Knowledge of legal principles and regulations related to Real estate
Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and contract negotiation.
