SAP PP and QM Consultant

Role & responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM consultant with expertise in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, quality management, and execution within a pharma manufacturing environment, as well as experience with SAP PP and QM modules.

• Design, configure, and implement SAP PP/QM module for our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at our location.
• Knowledge about master data for production planning and execution, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), Work Centres, and Routings etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new business processes in SAP PP/QM.
• Develop functional specifications, test plans, and user documentation in compliance with the pharma industry's regulations.
• Support day-to-day production operations by resolving issues related to SAP PP/QM module, including but not limited to, production orders, capacity planning, shop floor control, and quality control.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users and super-users on SAP PP/QM module and related processes.
• Stay up-to-date with new releases and updates of SAP PP/QM module and provide recommendations for enhancements or upgrades.
• Conduct periodic audits and reviews of the SAP PP/QM module to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all quality management activities, such as incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection, are performed in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
• Set up and maintain quality control plans, inspection lots, and sampling procedures in SAP QM.
• Manage quality notifications and coordinate resolution of quality issues with relevant teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and productivity.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP PP/QM module implementation and support in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and operations.
• Proficient in configuration and customization of SAP PP/QM module, including master data, production orders, capacity planning, shop floor control, quality management, and inspection planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work at our manufacturing location and travel as needed.
• Experience in other SAP modules such as MM and PM is a plus.
• Experience in POWER BI/ Office 365 will be a plus.
