Bonds Strategy

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of macro-economic trends, market risk factors and geopolitical developments with a genuine interest in developing a career in macro research.
• Writing research notes/commentary on macroeconomic trends
• Create outlooks and presentations on economic topics
• Build Sovereign credit rating profiles for the selected countries from the EM universe
• Create strategies around the EM sovereign credit products
• Help create quantitative models to better understand the relation among the economic variables
• Build statistical models on fair valuation/relative valuation

Job Requirements:

Qualification

• A Masters or PhD degree in Economics, Finance or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Experience

• 2-5 years
• Prior experience of Macro research, financial modeling, structuring, trading or market risk management

Functional Competencies

• Advanced Excel, VBA analytical skills and knowledge of basic econometrics is a must. Working knowledge of Python or R is a plus
• Strong quantitative and mathematical skills with experience on working with large amount of data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to write research reports and comment on market developments
