Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate (10-12 yrs)

Role : Java Developer with CDK & Database Development Expertise

Location : Jaipur (Onsite: 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM) / Remote (UK Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) / US Shift (6:00 PM - 3:00 AM)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with a primary focus on database development and cloud-based programming. This role requires strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, and AWS CDK, with Java development as a secondary skill.

The ideal candidate should have experience designing and optimizing databases, implementing custom data migration solutions, and developing cloud-based architectures using AWS services and CDK.

Key Responsibilities :

Primary Responsibilities :

1. Database Development & Optimization

- Design, develop, and optimize database triggers, constraints, and custom scripts for efficient data management.

- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora.

- Develop custom solutions for data migration, especially where standard tools like Amazon DMS are not suitable.

2. ORM & Database Migration Tools :

- Utilize Hibernate, Flyway, and other JPA frameworks for seamless database interactions and migrations.

3. Cloud Development Kit (CDK) Implementation :

- Implement AWS CDK solutions with strong coding expertise, going beyond basic administrative tasks.

Secondary Responsibilities :

4. Java Development & Support :

- Work on Java-based application development, ensuring seamless database integration and cloud connectivity.

- Develop and maintain microservices architectures to enhance scalability and system performance.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Database Development : PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora (3+ years), MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle (5+ years).

- ORM & Database Migration : Hibernate (5+ years), Flyway, JPA frameworks.

- Cloud & AWS : AWS Cloud services, CDK implementation (5+ years).

- Java Development : Java 1.6, 1.8, 9, 11, 17 (10+ years).

- Microservices & Spring Boot : Experience developing scalable architectures (5+ years).

- NoSQL Databases : Familiarity with NoSQL solutions (5+ years).

- Data Migration : Proven ability to develop custom migration strategies beyond standard tools.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on custom solutions.

- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
