Job Description

Initiating First Contact: Begin by contacting the individual or organization involved in the auto claim. This could be the driver of the vehicle or the fleet team. Introduce yourself and explain your role in handling the claim. Clearly communicate what information you need from them and what steps will be involved in the process.
Gathering Initial Information: Collect basic details about the incident, including the date, time, and location of the event, as well as any relevant documentation such as photos or witness statements. Obtain information about the vehicle involved, including its make, model, and license plate number.
Conducting Surveys: Depending on the nature of the claim, you may need to conduct surveys of the vehicle and/or the surrounding area to assess the damage and gather additional evidence. If possible, arrange for an in-person inspection of the vehicle. Alternatively, you may be able to conduct a remote assessment using photos or video footage provided by the claimant.
Communicating with Fleet Operations: Coordinate with the fleet operations team to ensure that they are aware of the claim and have access to any relevant information. Provide regular updates on the status of the claim and any decisions or actions that need to be taken.
Language Considerations:If youre communicating with individuals who speak Hindi, ensure you have a proficient level of fluency in both English and Hindi. Use clear and concise language, and be sensitive to cultural nuances that may affect communication.
Documenting the Process: Keep detailed records of all communications and actions taken throughout the claims process. This will help ensure transparency and accountability, and can also be helpful for future reference.
Resolving the Claim: Work towards a resolution of the claim that is fair and satisfactory to all parties involved. This may involve negotiating with the insurance company, coordinating repairs or replacements, or providing compensation for damages.
