General Manager - Marketing (FMCG)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented General Manager - Marketing to lead and drive the overall marketing strategy for our fast-growing FMCG company. The GM - Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns, building brand equity, and driving market share growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy: Define the brand vision, positioning, and target audience. Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across all channels, including digital, social media, TV, print, and outdoor.
Brand Management:
- Build and maintain strong brand equity across all product categories.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive threats.
- Develop and manage brand budgets effectively.
- Monitor brand performance and make necessary adjustments to marketing strategies.
Product Launches:
- Lead the development and launch of new products, including market research, product positioning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market plans.
- Manage product lifecycle from launch to end-of-life.
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and content marketing.
- Leverage data analytics to track campaign performance and optimize marketing spend.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, including brand managers, digital marketing specialists, and creative teams.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a creative and collaborative work environment.
Public Relations & Communications:
- Manage public relations and corporate communications activities, including media relations, press releases, and event management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media and industry influencers.
Qualifications:
- MBA/ PGDM Premier institute 15+ years of experience in marketing and brand management in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability1 to analyze data and make data driven decisions.
