Job Title: Head - Business Finance & Strategy

Job Overview:
The Head of business Finance and strategy will drive the organization's financial strategy, planning, and business operations. This leadership role involves managing financial performance, identifying growth opportunities, improving operational efficiency, and providing strategic direction to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Leadership:
- Develop and implement long-term financial and business strategies aligned with the company's vision and goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive business performance and strategic initiatives.
Financial Management:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and reporting processes.
- Monitor key financial metrics, ensuring the organization achieves its revenue, profitability, and cost objectives.
- Evaluate and manage financial risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.
Business Performance Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Drive data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Operational Efficiency:
- Lead initiatives to optimize resource allocation, streamline processes, and enhance cost-effectiveness across departments.
- Ensure financial discipline and accountability in operational activities.
Investor Relations & Stakeholder Communication:
- Prepare and present financial reports, business updates, and strategic plans to internal and external stakeholders, including investors and board members.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and strategic partners.
Team Leadership:
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance and strategy team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance from Premire B-School), OR CFA
Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years in finance, strategy, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Strong financial planning, analysis, and business strategy expertise in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in driving business growth, cost optimization, and operational improvements.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, ERP systems, and advanced tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and regulatory frameworks.
