- The General Manager - Sales will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales operations for our EBO (Exclusive Brand Outlets) and MBO (Multi-Brand Outlets) channels in South and West India.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing large-scale sales teams and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth and market share in the assigned regions.
- Channel Management: Manage and optimize the performance of our EBO and MBO networks, ensuring strong brand visibility and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team capable of achieving aggressive sales targets.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and market expansions.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in large-scale organizations.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the South and West India markets, including consumer behavior and distribution channels.
- Proficiency in using CRM and sales analytics tools.
