Job Title: Head of Reporting and Insights

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Head of Reporting and Insights to lead our data reporting function and elevate the quality of insights we provide to stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all reporting processes, automating data flows, and transforming our reports into powerful, executive-level insights. A deep proficiency in Power BI and a strong background in data analysis is essential. You will work with vast datasets, identifying key trends and actionable insights that will drive informed decision-making and support strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Strategy

- Lead and mentor the Reporting and Insights team, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for reporting and insights, aligned with company objectives.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs, ensuring that reporting outputs are aligned with business requirements.

2. Data Analysis and Insight Generation

- Analyze large volumes of data to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data sources, ensuring that reports reflect the most relevant and accurate information.

- Continuously improve the quality, depth, and clarity of insights to support decision-making.

3. Reporting and Visualization

- Overhaul existing reports, enhancing their look, feel, and effectiveness to deliver a compelling and clear user experience.

- Utilize Power BI to design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet executive-level standards.

- Create executive summaries and reports that convey insights in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.

4. Process Optimization and Automation

- Assess and improve current reporting processes to increase efficiency and data accuracy.

- Implement automation solutions for data extraction, transformation, and report generation, reducing manual effort and enabling scalability.

- Stay updated on Power BI and other data tools' latest features to optimize the automation and presentation of reports.

5. Quality Assurance

- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reports and dashboards.

- Develop and enforce data governance standards to maintain high-quality data sources and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience (5+ years) in a data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence role, preferably in a leadership capacity.

- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and experience in automating reporting processes.

- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights and visualizations.

- Familiarity with other BI tools and data programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
