Current Context

Currently, Ace is a ₹1000 crore entity with a workforce of over 1000 members. In alignment with the Mission to be a ₹2500 crore company by 2022. One element of the Mission 2022 is to generate ₹500 crores of turnover from new businesses. Ace has developed expertise in offering tooled up solutions and automation solutions related to turning operations. Over the years we have setup a manufacturing ecosystem along a wide sales and service network as part of the Ace Micromatic group. We believe we can leverage all of the above along with a pan India customer base and a comprehensive suite of products offered by the group to create an independent growth avenue that will provide end to end automations solutions for the entire manufacturing sector.

Role: Project Engineer

Job Location: Bengaluru

Experience Range: 2-3 Years

Education Qualification: B.E in civil engineering.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Project engineer to join our projects team to support us on our construction expansion projects as per the requirements along with day-to-day plant upkeep activities in all 5 plants in Bangalore.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a single point of contact for all the vendors/contractors and being able to resolve the conflicts between the various vendors.
• Coordination with internal stakeholders such as Admin, PED, Safety, IT & Legal teams to understand the requirements.
• Based on the request raised by various departments being able to coordinate and prepare a scope of work documents along with inputs required for BOQ.
• Project progress monitoring and regular reporting of all activities happening at site to internal stake holders of the project.
• Responsible for creation of work permits for all the labours from respective vendors entering site adhering to safety guidelines in coordination with Safety department.
• QA/QC – Ensuring right quality of materials as defined in the BOQ are used and best practices are followed during execution.
• Measurement certification for bills submitted by the contractor once after completion of the job.
• Support respective functions in terms of regulatory compliance and standards as and when required.

Requirements:

• B.E in civil engineering with 2-3 Years.
• Knowledge on Construction site safety and best practices Mandatory along with ability to audit the quality tests performed at site for all the materials.
• Onsite exposure on RCC, PEB buildings along with infrastructure projects such as maintenance of roads, pathways, landscape and office interiors preferred.
• Proficiency in MS-office & AutoCAD.
