Job Title: Manager Sales - Pharma Machines

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Sales with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical machines, particularly blister and cartoning machines. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience working with clients in the USA. This role requires exceptional technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales and business development in the pharma machinery sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy & Development: Develop and implement sales strategies for pharma machinery, specifically blister and cartoning machines, targeting both new and existing clients.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on USA-based clients, to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge and guidance on the technical aspects of pharma machinery, including blister and cartoning machine functionalities and their applications.
• Sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Conduct sales presentations, technical demonstrations, and site visits to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and capabilities of pharmaceutical machinery.
• Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify business opportunities and threats.
• Project Management: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that client orders are processed on time and meet client specifications.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure smooth customer experience and after-sales support.
• Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Pharma Machinery Expertise: Deep understanding of pharmaceutical machinery, with a specific focus on blister and cartoning machines, including their design, functionality, and market applications.
• Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales within the pharmaceutical machinery or manufacturing industry, especially with clients in the USA.
• Client Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building, customer service, and effective communication.
• Technical Sales: Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling sales propositions for clients.
• Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, especially in relation to packaging machinery.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to understand client challenges and offer customized solutions effectively.
• Travel Willingness: Ability to travel frequently, including international travel, as required by client engagements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting software.
• Knowledge of FDA and other regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical equipment in the USA.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and innovations in pharma packaging technologies.
