Responsibilities Design and develop high quality object- oriented code using PHP and popular frameworks Executing on application development and infrastructure projects both large and small Collaborate with cross functional teams to execute prioritized system and tools- related projects. Projects range from data integration to enterprise applications. Identify existing non- scalable solutions and help devise a plan/ roadmap to help them scale. Build proof- of- concepts, testing plans, and controlled systematic roll- outs. Participate in code review sessions with fellow team members troubleshoot and resolve outstanding issues. Build APIs and web services to be consumed by internal and external customers Creating and maintaining documentation in code and for Buy It Installed applications and APIs Respond in a timely and courteous manner to internal team members and clients on status updates and requests Translate user- stories and business logic into robust code that fits within new and existing architecture Qualifications and Experience Experience building scalable enterprise software, particularly web- based and customer- facing applications. Experience with enterprise level ecommerce platforms preferred. LAMP stack development (3+ years of significant experience) Ability to write clean and maintainable object oriented PHP JavaScript and JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, React, Node, etc Database and query design (MySQL) HTML/ Javascript/ CSS Experience with frameworks/ libraries (Codeigniter, Laravel, Express, Angular, React, etc.) CMS implementation and custom development Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures Thorough understanding of relational databases and security relating to PHP/ MySQL Comfortable blurring the line between traditional back- and front- end development, often integrating PHP with client- side frameworks and Ajax. Ability to lead multiple projects on issues of high complexity that require knowledge across multiple technical areas and business units Be able to act with a sense of urgency in resolving client issues associated with technologies and applications Nice To Have Cloud hosting provider services (Amazon Web Services, Azure, etc) Experience migrating data between different systems and/ or RDBMS We are dedicated to getting people to dream bigger and do more together, and we believe that starts right here with our own team.
