Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations, including invoice processing, payment management, financial reporting, and month-end closing. This role requires strong leadership in managing the finance team, handling vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice & Payment Processing: Oversee and manage the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

• MIS & Financial Reporting: Lead the generation of various financial reports, including MIS reports, and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.

• Petty Cash Management: Supervise petty cash transactions and ensure proper reconciliation and record-keeping.

• Bill Preparation & Vendor Management: Oversee preparation of contractor and service provider invoices per work orders; manage relationships with vendors to ensure smooth financial transactions.

• Accounting Records & Compliance: Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records, proper documentation for audits, and compliance with internal financial controls.

• Month-End Closing: Lead month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and coordinating with head office for final reporting.

• Team Leadership & Coordination: Supervise and guide the finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks; communicate effectively with site managers and clients.

• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to address financial issues, resolve discrepancies, and improve operational efficiency.

• Data Entry & Financial Statement Preparation: Ensure accurate data entry into financial software; prepare debtor and creditor statements for management review.

• Audit & Compliance Support: Ensure all financial transactions are substantiated with appropriate documentation; assist in internal and external audits as required.
