• Expertise in book-keeping/ Accounting.
• Extensive experience in technical/ client accounting, preparation of financial statement, internal and external audits and Taxation.
• Must be from the BFSI / broking industry.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handling and working with Teams responsible for Book-keeping including payables, receivables, client accounting, Taxation etc.
• Control over books of Accounts for timely and accurate completion.
• Guidance to stakeholders for preparing the financial statement to present true picture of financials of Company.
• Monitoring necessary returns and submissions by Company on daily/ monthly/ quarterly/ yearly basis.
• Interpretations of new regulatory requirements from accounting and reporting point of view and guiding team members for same.
• Controls over Direct and Indirect Taxation, managing tax assessments, also doing necessary interpretation of tax regulations.
• Managing stakeholders like consultants, Internal and External auditors.
• Ensuing Accounting function follows necessary TAT in terms of vendor, client and Franchise payments.
• Managing relationship with business in terms of resolving queries with respect to taxation, payments, helping resolve queries from customers and franchises
• Contributing to regulatory and business projects

Qualification and Experience:

• Graduate/ Master’s Degree in Accounting with 12 to 15 years of experience accounting,
  reporting.
