Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in our transport company. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be proficient in accounting software, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with invoicing and credit notes for transport services.

2. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

3.perform reconciliations of company accounts, including bank and credit card statements.

4. Assist with preparing and processing payroll for drivers and other transport staff.

5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and spreadsheets.

6. Provide support with internal audits and financial reporting.

7. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including drivers, operations staff, and management.

9. Perform other ad-hoc accounting tasks as required.
