Job Description:
The Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. This role involves identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and company objectives.
2. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
3. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
4. Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstock.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
5. Coordinate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
7. Do vendor management & have good understanding of RFQ, BOQ

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical or related field.
2. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
5. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
