Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with expertise in Kafka to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend systems using Java and Kafka.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Implement and manage Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
• Develop Kafka producers, consumers, and stream processing applications.
• Optimize and troubleshoot Kafka clusters and topics for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and enhance existing Kafka implementations and integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• 3+ years of experience with Kafka, including writing Kafka producers, consumers, and stream applications.
• Strong understanding of Kafka architecture and internals.
• Experience with Spring Framework and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
