As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team in generating leads, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships. Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and qualifying potential customers within the warehousing and e-commerce sectors in India. Use various tools and techniques to gather contact information and generate leads.
Client Outreach: Conduct initial outreach to potential clients through emails, calls, and social media. Schedule meetings and presentations for the senior sales team.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales team.
Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals. Track and update sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and industry stakeholders. Provide excellent customer service and support to build trust and loyalty.
Sales Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales activities, lead conversion rates, and market insights. Present findings to the sales team and management.
Training and Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Stay current on industry trends and innovations.
Requirements:
Bachelordegree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong interest in sales, business development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
Basic understanding of CRM systems and sales analytics tools is a plus.
