AGG is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our Technology Consulting team in delivering high-quality Guidewire implementation and prototype development projects for clients worldwide. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for driving client success.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a Technical Leader, managing multiple streams of Guidewire implementation projects.
Collaborate with onsite coordinators and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
Oversee project deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
Provide regular status updates to Program Managers and stakeholders.
Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Build and maintain a high-performance culture focused on quality and innovation.
Conduct performance management for direct reports in alignment with organizational policies.
Lead by example, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Facilitate training and development initiatives for project resources.
Participate in company-wide people initiatives and contribute to organizational growth.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of industry experience with a strong background in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter configuration and integration.
Proficiency in Java (8+), JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT.
Expertise in PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and Enterprise Messaging Systems.
Experience with servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with knowledge of personal and commercial lines products (eg, Auto, Property, Workers Compensation, Business Owners).
Hands-on experience with enterprise system integration, particularly within insurance applications.
In-depth understanding of software development best practices.
Proven track record with Guidewire implementations and upgrades.
Strong business communication and client-facing abilities.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Robust project management capabilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
