Job Description
AGG is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our Technology Consulting team in delivering high-quality Guidewire implementation and prototype development projects for clients worldwide. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for driving client success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Technical Leader, managing multiple streams of Guidewire implementation projects.
- Collaborate with onsite coordinators and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee project deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Provide regular status updates to Program Managers and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture focused on quality and innovation.
- Conduct performance management for direct reports in alignment with organizational policies.
- Lead by example, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives for project resources.
- Participate in company-wide people initiatives and contribute to organizational growth.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of industry experience with a strong background in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter configuration and integration.
- Proficiency in Java (8+), JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT.
- Expertise in PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and Enterprise Messaging Systems.
- Experience with servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
- Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with knowledge of personal and commercial lines products (eg, Auto, Property, Workers Compensation, Business Owners).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise system integration, particularly within insurance applications.
- In-depth understanding of software development best practices.
- Proven track record with Guidewire implementations and upgrades.
- Strong business communication and client-facing abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Robust project management capabilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
OTHER: Must have no other full-time commitments, ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
