Role Overview:
The Academic Consultant is expected to build activity-based learning methods, tools, and develop remedial content for secondary education to help Educate Girls maximize its impact. This role will be instrumental in improving teaching techniques and developing learning methods for implementation in government schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop activity-based learning methods and remedial content for secondary education.
Design new learning methods referring to NCERT suggestions and curriculum; recommend
changes if required to improve curriculum efficacy.
Encourage diverse learning styles with a focus on course outcomes, allowing students the
freedom to learn in their preferred ways.
Improve teaching quality and enhance student participation in the learning process.
Collect feedback and assess the effectiveness of classroom sessions and workshops.
Promote a blended learning approach, combining digital learning tools with traditional
Qualifications & Experience:
Post-Graduation in Education (M.Ed.) or Ph.D. in a related field.
Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in medium to large-scale education implementation
Experience with classroom teaching practices, integrating both theoretical and practical
approaches to meet diverse student needs.
Strong understanding of secondary education, curriculum, New Education Policy (NEP), and
Deep subject matter knowledge related to secondary education.
Demonstrated ability to design and align curriculum and assessment materials.
Ability to scaffold curriculum and provide remediation and enrichment recommendations based
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word,
