The Auditor, Certification will plan and conduct audits for all ABS QE audit programs as per relevant program requirement, maintain audit independence, and complete the audit report and other required post-audit activities. May also be required to perform any other necessary duties within their experience and capabilities from time to time.
What You Will Do:
Review management system manuals and associated documentation for compliance with requirements and applicable codes and/or standards.
Plan, schedule and conduct initial, surveillance and re-certification audits.
Prepare and maintain audit logs and all other required documentation.
Prepare and issue reports and recommendations for certification.
Lead introductory and closing meetings at clients facilities.
Administer ABS QE publications as required.
Assist the Program Director in the development and implementation of program procedures
Provide coaching to Auditors in the performance their duties.
Set high standards to achieve results.
Maintain audit independence without involvement in business development activities.
Additional program-specific roles and responsibilities defined in each program procedure.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university, preferably in an engineering/technical discipline, or equivalent quality experience.
Previous experience with Quality Control/Quality Assurance/Environmental/Safety & Health related activities including auditing experience.
Minimum five (5) years of experience preferred in industry.
Familiarity with appropriate system standards. Competent in the areas to be assessed.

RAB QSA / IRCA Assessor status preferred.
For CSR programs, APSCA CSCA status preferred.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Operations / Country / District Manager and has no direct reports.
Working Conditions:
Main work may be performed in an office environment. Will travel to and from Audit sites.
