Job Description:

Position: India Medical Auditor

Years of Experience: 7+ Years

Job Mode: Hybrid

Job Duties:

• Audit medical records to validate clinical documentation to support evaluation and management services, ancillary services, procedures, and diagnoses
• Research regulatory guidelines for supporting documentation
• Prepare audit summary findings, providing detailed comments related to the audit findings and make recommendations
• Prepares oral and/or written reports of audit activity for Supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years coding/auditing experience
• Extensive coding in multiple specialties
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to own an entire project
• Detail oriented and deadline driven attitude
• Ability to think critically and determine the best method for completing tasks
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and internet)
• Ability to multi-task and keep a sense of urgency
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic

Certification Requirements:

• CPC
• CPMA - to be completed within 6 months of joining the AAPC team
