Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

Job Description:

As an Embedded Hardware Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of embedded hardware systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our product requirements and performance standards. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded hardware systems, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Select appropriate components and technologies to meet project requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware with software components.
- Create prototypes for new hardware designs and conduct thorough testing and validation.
- Collaborate with testing teams to identify and address issues, ensuring the reliability and robustness of the hardware.
- Generate detailed design documentation, including specifications, schematics, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Maintain accurate records of design changes and updates throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with software engineers, firmware developers, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic product development.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance overall product quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware-related issues during various stages of development.
- Develop solutions to overcome technical challenges and optimize performance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in embedded hardware design.
3. Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Allegro, Altium, Eagle).
4. Experience with microcontrollers, processors, and other embedded systems components.
5. Knowledge of hardware testing methodologies and tools.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
