Cad Technician

As our new CAD Technician, you will be part of our building team. You would be responsible for coordinating with engineers for 2D and 3D AutoCAD and REVIT drawing and Modeling of all the structural parts of the building design project once the file is received from the architect. Additionally, you will be helping our computational designer with all Revit help and guidance from time to time.

Responsibilities:

• Create a concept and detailed GFC structural modeling, typical details, non-typical details, views, and elevations, using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu based on markups given by the engineering team.
• Working closely with team members internally and externally to implement markups.
• Carry out BIM integration of all BIM sub-models from all disciplines.

Qualifications

• A diploma/bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalence
• Min. 3+ years of work experience in recent versions of Autocad, REVIT, BIM 360, Navisworks with completing at least one building design project from start to finish each in Autocad and Revit.
• Experience in implementing the BIM Adoption of different BIM authoring tools and collaboration technology.
• Good knowledge of local building standards and civil engineering terminologies.
• Attention to detail and Proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Self-starter and can work independently. NO ON THE JOB training for software will be provided.
