We are seeking a Management Trainee to join GCC accounting team. The candidate will play a critical role in assisting the accounting team while also learning valuable skills to help grow in his/her career. The detailed job profile will include:
Keeping senior s informed and providing regular financial reports and updates on clients, including financial statements, and other performance metrics. Maintaining open lines of communication to understand the needs and concerns.
Reviewing financial documents for completeness and accuracy before they are submitted to seniors for review .
Preparing financial statements and reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other documents that track the company\ financial status.
Preparing journal entries to record transactions such as payments on loans, dividends paid to shareholders, or purchases of equipment.
Calculating taxes such as sales tax , VAT or payroll withholdings from employee pay checks.
Investigating and resolving accounting errors and discrepancies.
Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results.
Liaise with senior/AM to improve the financial procedures.
