Store Manager

Key Responsibilities:• Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions using inventory management systems.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish supplies as needed.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Warehouse Operations:
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products.
• Ensure that all goods are properly labeled, stored, and organized to optimize space and accessibility.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect incoming materials and products for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Address any discrepancies or issues with suppliers promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and storage to prevent damage or deterioration of goods.
• Logistics Coordination:
• Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Liaise with transportation providers to schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Team Management:
• Supervise and lead a team of storekeepers and warehouse staff.
• Provide training and guidance to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Foster a safe and efficient work environment.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain a clean and organized storeroom to promote safety and efficiency.
• Reporting:
• Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide recommendations to management for optimizing inventory management processes.

Qualifications:• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations within the manufacturing industry.• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.• Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.• Strong leadership and team management abilities.• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.• Attention to detail and accuracy.• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.• Certification in inventory management or logistics (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus.
