Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in India. As an Accountant at A V Savla, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting various financial processes. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our clients businesses and our firms reputation in the market.

1) Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reports.
2) Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of financial data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
3) Reporting: Prepare financial statements, monthly and annual reports, and other financial documentation in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
4) Tax Compliance: Assist with tax planning and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations in India and other countries where we operate.
5) Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to contribute to budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
6) Audit Support: Facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and assisting auditors in their review process.
7) Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and assess financial performance.
8) Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
9) Compliance: Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards in India and other countries of operation, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
10) Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, advisory, and consulting teams, to provide financial insights and support on various projects.
