Application Developer - Python/Django

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Flask.
• Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for database interactions.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaboration.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in the application.
• Analyse and solve problems effectively and efficiently.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.
• Take ownership and lead by example.
• Participate and contribute to Application Design and Data Modelling

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-4 years of experience in Python
• Good Python Programming skills
• 1-3 years of experience in Flask.
• 1-3 years of experience writing SQL queries to perform database operations
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL/MS SQL/MySQL databases
• Experience with Git.
• Experience in RESTful API development.
• Excellent debugging skills.
• Good understanding of SSO/OAuth protocols and their implementation in secure and scalable web applications
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile Software development model
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Excellent communication skills MUST be able to communicate effectively and clearly with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
• Quick learner who can adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Django.
• Knowledge of the Data Analytics domain.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux Administration
• Good understanding of ReactJS and other JS Libraries
