Area Sales Manager Bearing Sales

Role & responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development:
  
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets within the designated territory.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the bearing, paper, thermal, and cement industries.
• Provide technical sales expertise and consultative selling to existing and prospective customers.
• Account Management:
  
• Manage relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular visits to customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Market Intelligence:
  
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential customers and target industries.
• Reporting & Forecasting:
  
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales performance metrics.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales. Prior experience in the bearing, paper, thermal, or cement industries is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of bearings and related industrial equipment.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Education:
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Travel:
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet clients and close deals.
