The Clinical Care Analyst and Patient Care Services is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data elements which identify outcomes that maximize safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient centered care.
This includes, but is not limited to, the design and implementation of computerized data collection systems, data trending, interpretation and analysis of various nursing and clinical processes.
The analysis includes recommendations for process or structural changes to improve the outcomes of care.
The Clinical Data Analyst possesses a thorough knowledge of database management and implements the necessary policies and procedures to maintain appropriate records, reports and analysis.
He/she independently prepares written reports and analysis detailing nursing performance and/or practice issues.
The incumbent provides technical support in the development and/or management of select databases.
This position is also responsible for maintenance and improvement of the Clinical and Patient Care Services scorecards, the departments primary electronic tool in managing clinical and operational metrics.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology.
Diploma in Nursing (GNM) , Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology.
