CTC Budget: Up to 8 L per annum

Report to: Deputy General Manager Production and Vice President

Job Responsibility:

• Ensuring that the Company's Policy is understood & implemented throughout the Operations area wherever necessary by delegation, in liaison with MR & Functional & Sectional Heads Concerned.
• Compliance with Policy issues as designated in Company procedures, Minimizing risk through assessment and appraisal and taking the appropriate action to achieve continued / continual improvement in practices.
• Monitoring of Manufacturing & Related activities including Production planning, scheduling, controls and other related functions. Ensures environment protection and maintaining safety.
• Maintain Operational & Emergency control available in organization.
• Maintain proper coordination between Manufacturing, Plant engineering, Maintenance, Quality Control, HR & Safety,
• Meeting requirements related to Products, EHS compliance.
• Managing environmental aspects, OH&S risks. Ensure closure of NCRs, implementation & maintaining of corrective and preventive actions.
• Identification and achievement of related Objectives & Targets through establishing & implementing Management Programs /Action plans.
• Ensuring trouble shooting, safety of the plant (Equipment) & personnel through effective operational- engineering controls, environmental control and implementation of EHS management system.
• To Permission on work with work permit as per procedure with safety.
• Act as a mentor for Operations functions.
• Overall in-charge of plants, engineering services.
• Overall Responsible for meeting product requirements, and managing environmental aspects and OH&S risks.

Authority

• Liaison with relevant interested external agencies and communication with them in consultation with site head
• Communication with regulatory body for consents / authorization and other legal requirements in consultation with site head.
• Communicating legal and other requirements to employees and other interested parties including contractors in consultation with site head.
• Compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.

Accountability:

• Accountable for facilitate effective EHS across Operations area.
• To stop processes/activities having considerable impacts on environment, safety & health.
• Accountable for all Aspects of EHS Management System and controls including compliance to legal & other requirements.
• Accountable for in time production

KRAs

• Production scheduling - Developing and implementing schedules to ensure products are delivered on time
• Quality control - Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards are met, and performing quality inspections
• Safety- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the manufacturing area
• Efficiency- Monitoring and adjusting production processes to maximize efficiency, and proposing recommendations to increase efficiency, safety, and quality
• Cost control -Preparing cost estimates for materials, equipment, and hiring laborers, and initiating plans to minimize manufacturing costs
• Teamwork -Coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and achieve production goals, and working effectively as part of a team
• Staff management-Training and supervising production staff, and resolving labor disputes
• Communication-Keeping the production manager updated on the status of projects

KPIs

• Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)-A metric that measures the productivity of a manufacturing plant without downtime. It's calculated by multiplying performance by productive time and dividing by planned production time.
• Cycle time- Measures the time it takes to produce one unit from start to finish. This metric can help identify productivity issues and optimize production processes.
• Throughput - Measures the average number of units produced on a machine, production line, or by a plant over a specified period of time.
• Takt time - Determines how fast a product should be completed to meet consumer demand. It's designed to optimize capacity when demand fluctuates.

Preferred candidate profile - Candidate having good knowledge of chain clay mineral processing in Dry process and wet process. he should be knowledge of SAP and other relevant Software and good people managing skill

Essential Skill:

• Production planning - Anticipating production needs and creating schedules that are efficient and can account for staff schedule changes
• Budgeting - Creating budgets, tracking them, and analyzing finances to help mitigate risks
• Quality control -Ensuring that products meet quality standards by identifying and fixing problems
• Communication -Communicating effectively with stakeholders, clients, and production staff to avoid mismanagement
• Leadership-Managing teams and overseeing production processes
• Health and safety -Ensuring that workers and customers are safe by meeting health and safety regulations
• Troubleshooting-Having a basic understanding of mechanical principles so you can identify and fix problems with machinery
