Experience: Question 1: One of the most basic and common reason to join any department in company or climbing up is salary hike. Although it is strongly suggested not to mention that in particular, always emphasize on what attracts you to join that department(in my case it was technicality). It is more of a technical department as compared to normal QA/QC section. It brings me closer to how games meet the standards set by the console manufacturers such as Microsoft & Sony. So bottom line is you should always focus and display that you want to learn more about your field(in short you are hungry for knowledge).
Question 2: This one is little complex if you ask me because it is very rare that someone stays in same organisation for more than 5 years BUT you cannot mention that in the interview. So always mention that you see yourself somewhere your senior is now. For example you are in an interview for QA/QC testing, mention that you see yourself as a QA manager. Be careful not to boast too much such as Senior QA manager even though you have the potential to become one, it looks like you are overconfident before even experiencing the actual job.
