It begins with Proper village survey, village/villager's potentiality & major income activity (generally agriculture but apart from it what else is their income source, as agriculture income is seasonal/ not a monthly source mostly), repayment culture of that village, local political influence on villagers is a problem, rowdism disturbance can hamper business quality and ultimately it can lead to OD, check Good ethical behaviour, clashes between villagers on the basis of caste, religion, politics or any other reason is a point of concern, disturbance due to alcohol addiction, gambling addiction (spending lot of money on useless things will effect EMI repayment) , communal harmony is needed, villager's are living together peacefully or not, helping nature of villagers, ring leaders involment, how many ring leaders are active, influence of local ring leaders, get details of local ring leaders by maintaining secrecy, local money lenders opinion, opinion of surrounding village people about this village, past records of any conflict with any MFI operating there, proper loan utilization, villagers opinion over MFI, Joint Liability Group repayment culture, repayment culture to Bank loans, repayment culture to vendors from where they purchase anything related to agriculture or business, are the villagers involment in local crime, villagers helping local goondas will be a problem. We have to consider all the above points whether to start business or not.
