I was interviewed twice, and i cleared both rounds. Then I received an offer of appointment which bore no mention of remuneration, even though that part was settled over multiple calls with the HR. The offer letter contained only a one-liner on remuneration - The salary and allowances as applicable shall be settled as per mutually agreed terms and conditions. The lady from HR passed it as a standard practice for the University. Naturally, I declined the offer.
