use a mod 3 counter and take the MSB we will get a clock divide by but the Duty Cycle will be 33.33% to make it 50% add a negedge d-ff which will delay by half clock cycle and then OR Q[2] with output...read more

Using modulo 2 counter. But the duty cycle wont be 50%. To make it 50% we need to add buffer of appropriate time delay.
