Pub-sub mechanism is a messaging pattern where senders (publishers) of messages are decoupled from receivers (subscribers).

Pub-sub stands for publish-subscribe.
Publishers send messages to a topic, and subscribers receive messages from that topic.
Google Cloud Pub/Sub is a fully-managed real-time messaging service that allows you to send and receive messages between independent applications.
In my project, we used Google Cloud Pub/Sub to decouple various components of our data processing pipeline.
For example, we had a data ingestion component that published messages to a Pub/Sub topic whenever new data was available. Then, our data processing component subscribed to that topic to process the incoming data.
